REFUND POLICY
RETURNS
At Barkt - Built for Walks®, we offer a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- be unused and in the same condition you received it
- include all original tags
- be in its original packaging
- be accompanied by proof of purchase

If your return is accepted, we’ll provide instructions on how to send your item back.
Please note:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from your refund where a return label is provided
- Items returned without first contacting us will not be accepted
PERSONALISED PRODUCTSAll personalised or custom-made products are non-refundable and cannot be returned once your order has been placed.
By selecting a personalised product, ticking the confirmation box, and proceeding to checkout, you confirm that all personalisation details (including spelling, formatting, and design choices) are correct.
We are unable to make changes after an order has been placed. If you would like to amend your personalisation, this will need to be submitted as a new order and will be charged separately.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMSPlease check your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us at hello@barkt.co.uk as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue quickly.
Please allow up to seven working days for your replacement items(s) to be dispatched.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
We do not accept returns for:
- personalised or custom-made products
- perishable goods
- personal care items
- hazardous materials
- gift cards
- sale items

EXCHANGES
The quickest way to exchange an item is to return it for a refund and place a new order.
YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL (UK & EU CUSTOMERS)
If you are based in the UK or EU, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, in line with consumer protection laws.
You then have a further 14 days to return the item once you’ve notified us.
To qualify:
- items must be unused and in original condition
- original packaging must be included
Refunds will be issued in line with your statutory rights.
REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved:
- refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- this will be processed within 10 business days
Please note:
- It may take additional time for your bank or card provider to process the refund
